Yaofeng New Energy grew out of the Pingyao Yaofeng briquette factory, with more than thirty years of machine-made charcoal production and a technical team that keeps optimising formulas and burn performance.

From a briquette plant to a machine-made charcoal exporter
Based in Pingyao, Shanxi, the company runs its own 100+ mu site with fully automated production lines. A 32-person technical team keeps optimising formulas and burn performance, and calorific value, ash and consistency are checked in-house. Today the plant supplies BBQ charcoal, shisha charcoal and quick-light charcoal at 200,000 tons a year to the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Africa.
